Diesel Technician

JE-CO Truck and Trailer sees great opportunities on the roads ahead. We are under new ownership and want to expand our team to service the increase in business we are seeing. We do a lot of really cool stuff at JE-CO that falls outside of the normal diesel repair shop, such as Crane Repair, Metal Fabrication, Product Development, etc. This is a chance to learn new things and grow with our cool group. Our team is always looking to expand our Diesel Technician team. We have various shift opportunities available. In this role, the successful candidate will perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goals. You will have plenty of opportunities to grow and further your experience as a technician. We work on a variety of diesel engines, transmission, and hydraulic equipment such as knuckle boom trucks. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined in the repair order.
• Perform all work with efficiency and accuracy
• Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunction.
• Communicate with the parts department to secure necessary parts.
• Advise shop foreman and provide recommendations if repair order needs to be adjusted.
• Road test vehicles as needed for quality assessment.
• Ensure customer vehicle cleanliness.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
